I started out this morning discouraged.  I'm encouraged that Curt was down 7 lbs as of yesterday.  I'm discouraged that when I woke up and weighed in, I was at my DAY 1 STARTING WEIGHT!!  I put in a workout and then weighed in and got this new number.  I'm going with it because I may pull out my hair if I don't.  I don't need the...  "you know...  men lose weight easier" speech so save it.  I know. I know.  But then "the man" isn't working out and "the woman" is...  GRRR!!  Oh well, still proud of him and want him to keep going!

Well, Curt started out slow but ended the week with a bang!  I'm still trudging on, sticking to the diet to a "T" so I guess I'm a little surprised that I'm not seeing better results.  I assume I'll have a "whoosh" any day now.

I have been terribly pathetic about actually blogging. I would have to assume it's because I'm not doing all that much.  It's so freaking cold!  It's been holding steady at about 4 degrees F.  We hit 13 today.  Big deal!  Still freakin' cold!

So no change....  I'm a little irritated.  I've been very careful with what I eat, added in exercise AND no alcohol.  Frustrating.

Well, here we go again!  And it didn't talk long for me to look at the food and think...  "Ugh... gross!"  But, such is life and I would like to be back in my old jeans by the end of next month.  We're both up about 30 lbs. from July.  CRAZY!   I have felt like CRAP the past few weeks and last night I hit a real low point.  I was extremely constipated.  I had to take a magic pink pill just so I could sleep.  But, I started today and the diet on a fresh new page.  

Two kids start basketball practice today, during which we will be doing our evening workout.  I planned on working out this morning, but I forgot I committed to making quilts with my good friend Jennifer, so I'll start that tomorrow.  Speaking of those quilts, we plan on getting together once a week to make quilts for Christmas gifts for next year.  Hello back pain!

**After going to the first kids practice, we found out there is no coach.  Say hello to the new coaches.  No work out...

Just a quick update...  We're planning on starting back up on Dukan on Monday, January 14th instead of January 26th.  The reason...  I think that Curt is tired of listening to me gripe about not eating good and not working out!  Maybe not, but last night he said, let's just start now.  Well..  after a football weekend.  I'm so freakin' excited.  I have felt like CRAP for weeks because of the crap we've been eating.  So I'll start posting on a regular basis on Monday.
