It's been a super busy week so blogging has been sparse.  A few things have been going on this week.  Ethan had his state track meet last weekend.  He was in the 110 m hurdles and in the 800m run.  He did not well in the hurdles, but we really weren't expecting much there.  In the 800, he was ranked 8th and he came in 8th.  For coming in 8th, he earned 1 point for his team's total number of points, and he PRed.  He was pretty disappointed and thought he got 9th, BUT....  thank goodness he was wrong and he did earn that 1 point.  His team TIED for first place, so they are state champions.  And All we can say is...  can't wait to see what he does next year!  Ethan is the first KID from the left.

We were going to go to church this morning, but woke up at 10:08...  22 minutes before church starts.  So Curt and I got out and took a long bike ride, about 7 miles.  We went up a really hilly route and Curt wasn't particularly thrilled about this, but he pushed through (from alot of urging from me!).  Then...  just as we were getting to the fun part (the greenbelt), Curt's bike freaked out.  All the ball bearings in the rear axle came out.  We had to walk the bikes a about 1/4 mile while waiting for our ride.  Yeah... that bike is ruined.  It's had issues since we got it, 6 days ago.  So tomorrow, we're taking it back to the store and hopefully we'll have it replaced by 9 a.m.  But this is what I took pictures of while I was waiting for Curt to finish working on his bike.  So stinkin' cute!!

And I don't have a picture of it yet, but I got a new dog today.  I know, I know...  I didn't need him.  Lily, my pug, is in heat.  I found a 3 year old male, papered pug for $100...  a better deal than a stud.  And now, I have a permanent male stud AND I can stud him out.  His name is Romeo and he is adorable.  This evening, while eating dinner, we watched, ummm....  let's just say, I almost lost my appetite.  I've never seen that before.

After dinner, Brenna (the 11 year old) and I went on a 2.98 mile walk/run.  It took 38 minutes.   Not bad for her first time. She kept saying she was going to die and that I would have to carry her home.  But she made it.  She stayed right with me and we did alot of walking and then running (hard) to land marks.  She did good.  I'm hoping to do it every day or so.
